Reynolds Logistics who were named European Transport Company of the Year for 2012 are one of the leading bulk logistics companies involved in the distribution of bulk fuels, lubricants, bitumen, specialist liquids and hazardous goods throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe. The company has two main operating bases in Dublin, Ireland and Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom, with several strategically placed out-bases including a new base in East London to ensure a seamless network of transport operations throughout Ireland the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. Maxol, Ireland’s leading family-owned fuel and convenience retailer is pleased to announce that it has renewed its contract with Reynolds Logistics to continue to service its Republic of Ireland retail network with all fuel deliveries. A two-year contract has been awarded on foot of a successful tender and coincides with the rebranding of Maxol’s tanker fleet.
Commenting on the new contract, Mark Woods, Chief Supply Chain Officer, The Maxol Group, said: “I am delighted that Reynolds Logistics will continue to be our exclusive haulier for fuels and at a time when our new striking vehicle livery will draw even more attention to the fleet on the road. An Irish family run logistics company Reynolds Logistics were awarded the European Transport Company of the Year 2012 at the awards ceremony in Dublin on the 5th November. This is the first time these awards have been presented in Ireland and it is fitting an Irish company has won the accolade.

Dublin based family-run firm, Reynolds Logistics was presented with the European Transport Company of the Year 2012 award by Mr. Alan Kelly. Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport at the Fleet Transport Expo 12 in the Citywest Hotel, Dublin on 5 November.
This is the first time these awards have been presented in Ireland. Previous winners include Dutch company Van Maanen, who were victorious on the first edition of the contest in 2009, and British company Tradeteam, in 2010. Runners-up in the 2012 edition were Maszo?ski Logistic (Poland) and Snel Logistic Solutions from Belgium.
The European Transport Company of the Year award recognises the achievements of the finest road transport operations throughout Europe. The aim of the contest is to give an award to an operator whose management skills, customer dedication and all-round professionalism can be considered as an example to follow for the whole European freight transport industry.
