Having a computing solution available in the cab enables Reynolds to provide a fully systemised and integrated order management, confirmation and reconciliation system. The system can facilitate the tracking of delivery orders from transmission to Reynolds through to product delivery at the customer site – with electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) available within minutes.
The Reynolds IT solution has the ability to provide real benefits to our customers by enhancing customer service through increased visibility of individual order status and the ability to provide updates directly to customers or the scheduling via SMS / Email team on expected customer arrival time.
Once the order is completed the delivery information is interfaced back to our customers systems, including an image of the ePOD speeding up the confirmation process and eliminating the requirement to post original documents for scanning and archiving.
On truck tablets are provided by eCom with software from Bottom Line.
